NOISE


is a  3 day  long collaborative endurance art performance installation where true freedom of speech within the community mental health zeitgeist can anonymously be explored, witnessed and authentically documented on the days surrounding the 2024 election.

At NOISE, you are allowed to say whatever you want, scream, yell, sing, sign, speak, or simply sit in silence for as long as you want with
​no repercussions.

The artist will be present at NOISE within the mirrored chamber from 12p-8p with no breaks, seated in active stillness.

NOISE will be recorded into a community soundscape to be paired with 24 rage portraits opening in an exhibition in 2025.

At NOISE, participants are  in control of their anonymity both auditory and visual.

NOISE performance dates are also arbitrary.

Performance dates were chosen as commitment to action within a civically communal responsibility for the need for accessible and sustainable mental health resources affecting all demographics within all communities as contributed to larger systemic issues within a healthfully functioning society.

NOISE is not a solution.

NOISE ​will be made free to the public by support from current candidates running for public office and elected officials.
All supporting parties of NOISE, true freedom of speech, community mental health and common ground of the first amendment will be publicly displayed by surname as a part of the NOISE production.

Solo participation recommended.
Participants must sign a waiver prior to entry.
Participants under the age of 18 must have parent or guardian co-signed waiver.
